Laurelton Court

I have resided at Laurelton Court for 6 years and a couple of months. I am ready to move out to a new home I have worked very hard to purchase and achieve this goal. I am grateful for my time at Laurelton Court because it became my home when I was in need of relocation, and the previous property manager was so kind and gracious in that time of need. However, now that I am ready to vacate the premises, they are refusing to honor the month-to-month lease terms I agreed to three years ago. They are trying to force me into paying for an extra month of rent when I have busted my butt to arrange for my move. The current property manager is not helpful; she is a puppet. I have tried working with her directly, but she does not have great communication skills. Southern Management takes the bully approach to handling matters with tenants. It's hard enough living life and handling the daily requirements; no one needs the extra headache and hardship this company tries to place on human beings. I have tried to be a great tenant, and I wanted to leave a decent review, but the difficult time they are giving me regarding honoring my month-to-month lease agreement has soured any possibility of that. This is a huge conglomerate of a business; the fact that they want to nickel and dime me as I am leaving is disgraceful and disgusting. Also, as long as I have been here, they have not kept the home up, nor have they replaced anything that has depreciated or expired through wear and tear.

Need security or a secured building entry to keep out unwanted visitors that put tenants at a safety risk!

Nice place nice community, advantagers because its near to my work place…

Groups of young people frequently congregate inside the building, often leaving behind trash and litter in common areas. This behavior contributes to an unclean and unwelcoming atmosphere for tenants. Additionally, pet owners continue to neglect their responsibility to clean up after their dogs. This not only creates an unpleasant walking experience. These conditions are making it increasingly uncomfortable to walk through and enjoy the property.

I've been here for 3 years and have had no issues. The staff is nice and prompt. Hallways are always clean and smell good. Parking spaces are too small, but otherwise, it's good.
