Overall, my experience living at Canvas Apartments has been fair. Most of the staff members are polite and respectful. However, Ms. Betty has continuously been rude and condescending toward both me and other residents in regard to rent, lockouts, and parking. All in which I have emailed countless times as well as went to the leasing office to express my concern. Additionally, the upkeep of the 5th floor has noticeably declined. The carpet is stained, the walls are covered with marks, and trash and trash bins are frequently left in the hallways despite multiple emails being sent to property management regarding these concerns. Parking for visitors should be free, especially since the gate is consistently broken, creating both inconvenience and safety concerns. My apartment door is also damaged, and despite requesting paint repairs three separate times, maintenance continues to state that they do not have the correct paint available. The lockout fee is unreasonable, and residents should be provided with two key fobs at move-in, or at minimum have the option to add the cost into the rent with the purchase of an additional key fob. I was told by Ms. Betty I could not purchase an addition I would appreciate a response regarding how management plans to address these concerns and improve the living conditions for residents. Specifically, I would like updates regarding the condition of the 5th floor, repair of the parking gate, maintenance for my apartment door, and reconsideration of resident policies regarding key fobs and lockout fees. As well as response or an update on the apartment building being used as an Airbnb without current residents' knowledge. As a resident who pays rent on time and expected a certain standard of living in a newer building, I hope these issues will be taken seriously and resolved promptly.

This property is clearly not being well managed by its corporate entity. Even though the building is only about a year old, there are ongoing issues that have not been adequately addressed. The elevator breaks down frequently, hallway carpets are already stained from water and probably pets urine, there have been multiple pipe bursts, and trash pickup is inconsistent. While the amenities are new and visually appealing, the building itself requires much more attention and upkeep. There is also a lack of clear signage throughout the hallways, which makes navigation unnecessarily difficult. Overall, its a decent property but be sure to ask good questions before signing your lease. Additionally, the building is not set up well for guests or deliveries—there is no reliable way for visitors or delivery personnel to access units directly, as they cannot be easily let up without a key fob. This creates daily inconvenience and reflects a lack of thoughtful management and resident experience.

I can hear my neighbors talking, laughing, and having simple conversation. I believe the walls are too thin. My neighbor has two dogs that bark all day long terribly. I am not understanding why dogs are allowed in the building with walls to thin. Also, the cycle bike are non-usable. We have been waiting to use them for a long time. When is someone going to get the subscription so we can use them?

My experience living here has been great overall, with a few exceptions. I have concerns regarding the construction quality of my apartment, repeated trash violations from neighboring units apts down the hall from 547 each side, the requirement to pay for parking, and the noise associated with living in such a busy area.

Hello, I have moved to this place in July. I want to say that the staff is wonderful. Any issue I have is not with the staff. I do have a concern however about the water. I have been here for almost 2 months, and the water continues to smell like sulfur. I was told to run the water some to let it clear out, but it still is very much present. I am not sure exactly if the water is safe to use, or when it will stop smelling. I feel it is not fair that we are charged a water bill with this issue.
