This location and this building deserves better. The apartment has not seen a fresh coat of paint for at least 30+ years although there are stains on the ceiling from before the roof was repaired 5-7 years ago... Have I mentioned that the carpet is 50+, worn down and tearing?

Good neighborhood, and the surrounding area is the best.

I like the location a lot.

The building dates back to 1972 and most of the suites here have not been tendered much since. For the few years I've been here the water system broke many times leaving us without water or hot water for days. The management is slick but hard to talk to and even harder to act. Is it a wonder that the apartment has not seen a fresh coat of paint in 30 years although by law it is required every 10? Windows should get a once a year cleaning but I've never seen one done. Complaints about the hot water low or no flow in the kitchen unanswered for years... On the bright side the hallways have received new painting and carpet and the stairs new vinyl. I think that the only major work was upgrading the windows and fixing a leaky roof but these were done before I moved in.
