The vast majority of residents are great people, but the few inconsiderate and mean people can make this a harsh experience at times. Maintenance staff is great and trustworthy. Some staff are good, some are cringe.

Living in Leyden Wood isn't as bad as I thought it would be. I wish ore residents would mindthete own business, buy I try to keep to myself. I always pay my rent on time and am quiet, have been served e icyion notices like three times. Its not right.

I have rented from (TCB)The Community Builders @ Leyden Woods since November of 2013. This particular apartment complex underwent a complete overhaul in 2016. TCB contractors and employees were extremely helpful in making sure all residents understood the nature of the renovation and what was to be expected of each tenant upon relocating to the complex and accommodating every need of residents no matter what it entailed. The New Improved Apartment complex is absolutely Stunning and affordable for low and working class tenants who strive to make their lives better. We have access to a on site food pantry and lots of extra curricular activities for persons of any age. Tenants really do thrive in this community. We also have access to a resident coordinator 5 days a week. TCB employees go above and beyond to make sure all residents have access to a abundance of resources. I am proud to call this TCH complex home. I promise you will not be disappointed. Handicap apartments available for those who need this accommodation. Come be part of a community that you can be proud of! 1-3 bedroom Apartments Available. 3 bedroom units have 1.5 baths.

Admin asst is very knowledgeable and helpful, prompt assistance with any issues. Nice grounds and beautiful space for outdoor use and walking. Maintenance takes prompt action with repairs. Snow removal is reasonable and well addressed. Majority of residence are considerate. Some are simply obnoxious or rude. Pretty safe neighborhood for the layout. Can get loud in warm months, fireworks etc. Very comfortable housing and fairly well built.

I've been here 6 years. The staff is great, and maintenance is better than when I owned my own home If something needs repairs, a trustworthy person I know will handle it whether I'm home or not, and normal stuff is included in the rent - unlike home ownership where I'd have to schedule a day off to see if someone shows up, then pay huge fees for random qualities. This is better. I wish the soundproofing was better. After being disturbed by the neighbors for years, I finally took sides in one of their arguments, since I could hear every word in my kitchen despite all windows being closed. They weren't expecting me to join in with my opinion. I'm also not a fan of kids cussing and screaming outside from mid-afternoon until 1 a.m. in good weather, but I think there were fewer f-bombs and c-words yelled last year. The lady who runs the place does her best to make sure people are safe, and so long as we're only doing what we're supposed to be doing, that we get our basic needs met fairly within the realm of her responsibility and reach. She can be intimidating, but she has to be to keep this many safe when not everyone is angelically-motivated. There are unobtrusive security cameras, so it looks nice and it is safe enough that people feel comfortable letting their kids run loose until maybe 1 a.m. and she keeps a great staff, so she's doing a good job. I guess it's up to the rest of us to fix the broader society, because people fighting and kids cussing are lots of places... At least here it's clean enough and safe enough.
