The Crossings apartments have been very suitable for living. I have enjoyed specifically the location of the area, the maintenance’s efficiency to answer our requests, and the friendliness of the staff.

Do not rent from crossings of Oakbrook. When we first moved in everything was OK. But things started happening we got a water leak from the upstairs come down to the wall to the carpet then the walls started developing black mold. After I got the bad case of Covid I became allergic to a lot of things one of them was mold it also affected my breathing. I've got heart failure I have breathing issues I wear a CPAP and I have severe back trouble I don't know after a year we lived here I asked if she could put us in a level apartment because I had problems walking I fell up and down the stairs several times one time one of the other tenants helped me out which I was grateful for. Then the back got worse she would not put us in a ground level apartment with no stairs they knew about the mold they told me that dawn dishwashing liquid and water if you wiped it up it would go away that was a lie I searched it talk to other people I called the health department, I called codes enforcement. None of them would not do anything about this mold problem I was breaking out in hives. These are heartless people they don't care the woman the manager up at the office said they sued a dead man. Would you want to rent from somebody like this? This is all truth nothing but the truth. It got to where I couldn't handle the mold after I had the back surgery I was in the apartment for 4 weeks tryingwhen I was working I was gone a lot because I sang in a gospel group. So the mold didn't bother me when I was away when I get home I'd break out. So it was the mold in the apartment because every time I left I cleared up. My son had a lot of sinus issues also they're trying to sue him too he has autism high functioning Asperger's and he can't see good enough to drive so I have to drive him everywhere so he lives with me. They're suing me for $2800.02. The apt was in better shape than when i moved in. I've got pictures to prove it. If somebody posts positive stuff about this place it's the manager

Overall, my experience is good. The maintenance of the rooms could be better, as many of the window blinds tend to keep breaking even when Im being gentle with them.
