This place is awesome, and the people who work here are aweosme. The neighborhood is well kept, maintence is speedy, and everyone who works here has a great attitude!

I've lived here for 8 years. Has gotten a little noisy since I've first moved in. Groundskeepers have done a better job, but they trim bushes etc and leave the mess overnight. Tall grass covering sidewalks and shrubbery just left on ground. Residents move off sidewalks. Basketball court and tennis court has cracks in surface. Would probably be a good idea to resurface. Maintenance does a good job and gets jobs done quickly. Would be a good idea if office staff walked grounds (not rode around in golf cart) daily to maintain "curb appeal". The complex was voted "Best of Topeka" for several consecutive years. It has not won this award recently. Would like to see ownership put a little money and time into it to regain this title. The complex is starting to show it's age. Sherwood is still a great place to live. It is a safe and clean,. The office staff is friendly and responsive .

Even the three bedroom apartments are tight. Small refrigerator. Maintenance is good except for keeping the trash out of the yard and snow removal is sometimes slow and incomplete. There were three evictions in my building while we lived here so that was a big concern.

We have lived in Sherwood Apartments for about 18 months and have thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The staff is really great and quick to respond to repairs or concerns. The grounds are always kept up and the maintenance staff keep things working great. Our neighbors are friendly which makes it just a nice atmosphere, even during all the Covid restrictions. The complex is very pet friendly and there is even a dog park on the grounds! If you are looking for a well managed apartment, I highly recommend Sherwood Apartments.

Great location, great maintenance crew. Office staff often don't get back to you or do what they say the are going to do. Multiple calls or emails required at times. But they've always been nice.
