Rent increase

I love my apartment here but I’m on a fixed income and I can only afford so much rent and you keep raising it $30 a year and I’m not getting any extra pay so I am in deep trouble if you keep raising it. I do find it hard now then groceries gasoline and everything else has risen to be able to keep paying my bills and I don’t even have a credit card.

Shawnee Lake Apartments Review

My disabled son has lived in these apartments for over 12 years. He first had a one bedroom and now a two bedroom due to a temporary room mate. He now lives alone but requires a two bedroom due to medical equipment due to a heart condition. For the most part, we have been satisfied but in recent years the maintenance has been difficult and nothing has been replaced in the apartment in all that time. He really needs new carpeting as he suffers from allergies and the carpet was not new and stained when he moved in. We love the location as it is close to the lake so that he can walk in good weather due to his heart and it is close to where we live so we can get there quickly. The management has been courteous but not many of our requests for update have been dealt with. If there is anything that can be done about this - it would be appreciated as we do not want to move him due to the convenience of the location. It is a safe area and we have geriatric staff members who take care of him as well as myself who needs to be there at 6 AM every morning as I am part of his care staff. Thank you for your attention.
