I've been a Tenant at Village Green since 2019. The staff is very courteous and attentive and quickly attend to maintenance needs. The layout of the apartments are nice as well. The pool and Hottub amenities are a plus during hot summer day and, common areas are very well maintained. If they had 3 bedroom rental I'd probably still live there for few more years.

We have lived at Village Green for 3 years. One of the best features of this apartment community is the maintenance staff are excellent: very response, prompt, and do quality work and will fix or replace anything in the apartment that is broken. The territory is beautiful and the community feels intimate, great location near two parks within walking distance. Parking is usually not a problem and there are no annoying requirements like permits or guest passes. Outside the apartments resemble townhouses which is quite aesthetic. However, inside the apartments their features themselves are flimsy which is surprising given the high rental. Blinds, cabinets, closets, windows, heating system, etc. appear to be the cheapest versions and easily break during normal use. The windows have little heat insulation causing you to constantly run the heater in winter and fall (at your own expense, since utilities are not included in the rent) just to stay warm. The territory is green, lovely, and decently maintained but not in outstanding condition (there is always some trash in back courtyards, wires sticking out of ground) and the lake is for decoration only, as there is no pathway around it for promenades and ample geese excrements everywhere near the lake make it unpleasant to walk on the grass. That being said the roofs and pavements have been recently renovated which was welcome. The decent size and clean swimming pool is a great feature for the summer and early fall. There is a fitness room that is clean but it is tiny and has little equipment in it. There is also a playground but it is also tiny which effectively means you will have to drive your kids to normal size playgrounds around Schaumburg. The management will write letters to neighbors who are being loud and noisy but no action beyond that (there is little sound insulation). Lastly, our rent was consistently raised by $150-200 with each term renewal which seriously diminished the living experience down the road.
