Great place, except...

I love my apartment and the location, but it seems like the staff doesn't care at all, unless it's regarding collecting a payment from you. I inform them of a new pet and right away I get the bill. I ask for a maintenance request and get ignored for days. How interesting. One example is I kept getting told that maintenance was coming after I had said I worked that night before (overnight) and they never came so I lost sleep for no reason. I wish there was more of a human factor here. I would not at all have been upset if they didn't leave me sleep-deprived and lied to. All the staff had to do was call back and say they couldn't come that day rather than brush me off with false promises via e-mail, because like I said minimal human factor--they almost never call you back. Oh well, just motivates me to save up money and buy a house in the next year or two. Other than that, great place to be able to live with your pets.

I really like it here, except for that when I come home, there is almost always an oak park apartments maintenance vehicle blocking the path that I use to park in my parking spot.
