Northwoods Apartments

Overall a pretty good experience with Cal-Am, responsive maintenance, clean apartments, they addressed some parking issues swiftly. I enjoyed the apartment while I was there.

I really like living here. I would like to see an improvement regarding work order request being completed in a timely manner. Management has no qualms putting deadlines on tenants when trying to enforce policy, which is fine. I would just like to see the same dedication towards these deadlines when there are workorders to be completed. We have had a work order for our stove in since before Christmas.

Cal-Am is a careless company and their apartments are poorly maintained. Try renting elsewhere if you can.

The complex is off the main road but still conveniently located. There is a parking spot and garage for each apartment. There are washer and dryer hookups, dishwasher, and views that are pleasant but not so amazing that they raise the rent over it. Very close to a park with a playground. Maintenance seems understaffed. There is no gym they will say there is but its in the next town over in another complex they own and not impressive. They only allow portable AC units so your apartment will regularly get into the 80's in the summer unless you are home running two of those things all day. They resurfaced the parking lot two years in a row making the problem puddles worse the adding an additional pot hole each time.
