The location and apartment size are great. This apartment is not well insulated because I can hear my neighbors taking, people on the sidewalk or alleyway talking, etc. The quality of construction and interior leaves a little to be desired like countertops and carpet. I realize it’s a rental and need durable interior but doesn’t feel like urban chic. Don’t believe dishwasher works great: do not like the hard water and white crusty water stains all over whatever the water splashes on; front windows leak a lot of cold air so living/kitchen area is colder than the rest of the apartment (electric bill is really high too!). Master bedroom is cozy and nice closet-stays warm in there. Don’t use the master shower too much because concerned that it’ll wake up neighbor who sleeps in the bedroom next door (I can hear her talking when I’m in my bathroom)...she’s using a conversational voice. Maintenance is okay...don’t know when they’ve come or want they did except that lights are usually left on. How about a note that explains what maintenance did while in your residence (?). I requested maintenance last December 5, as low priority, to fix my kitchen faucet and my deadbolt but nothing has been done. I will submit another request this month. The fence malfunctions and causes anxiety when I want to leave for work. Garbage collects inside the fenced area from wind. Would be nice to have a garbage can down there to pick up trash. Love the location and ability to work and get food or drug store, movies, furniture, etc. Neighbors are nice and friendly. Residential manager, Doreen, is very responsive!!
