KEEP LOOKING! This is not the one for you
In short- live anywhere else and make sure it is not managed by Bridge Property Management. Just keep looking, this is not the complex you want to live in, trust me. I moved into my 1-bedroom apartment in August of 2018. At the time the complex seemed nice and the leasing staff was very helpful. However, several months later the entire office staff had left after a new property manager took over. It all went downhill from there. I have had several maintenance requests take weeks if not months to complete. The most agitating was when my microwave broke and turned into a fire hazard. It shorted out in December, and I reported it that day. It then took 3 months to get the microwave replaced. I called every week and visited the leasing office several times to air my grievances, and every time they promised to fix it. Unfortunately, it did not get replaced until I threatened legal action and spent 45 minutes going over everything with the less-than-helpful property manager. There is always trash everywhere and the “gates” have worked maybe 3 days out of the 2 years I lived at the complex. This left the pool and common areas wide open to all visitors and partiers at all hours of the night, especially at the pool during summer. Getting in touch with the leasing office is like getting in touch with the DMV. They never answer the phone, and when they do they always tell you to either “check online. I moved out at the beginning of September and turned in my 60-day notice to vacate back in June. However, I never received a confirmation email nor a final bill for rent. When I called to resolve this issue they told me it would be prorated in the system, and that confirmation emails were not “standard procedure.” Fast-forward to September and they tried to charge me an entire month’s rent, despite my lease ending on September 2. I called several times to resolve this and no one answered. I even emailed the corporate office and they were also very unhelpful. Do not move here
Great Service
I was in a frantic because I found out that my job due to Covid request that I move in 6 months. I called spoke with CJ and told him of my situation. CJ calmed me down and assured me that he would do his best to get me an extension on my lease and asked that he call me back. CJ called me back with great news my extension was granted. I've lived here at The Grandstand for 3 years and every issue I've had has been resolved in a timely manor. Thank you CJ and The Grandstand staff for all you do. Stay safe everyone and many blessings to you all.
Good Area
I've been here 2 months shy of my 13 month lease and honestly, I love it! I really haven't had any major problems since I've been here and the little ones I have had, have been taken care of in a timely manner. The units are a bit thin I guess you can say because I can hear a lot of what goes on in my neighbors units. The staff are nice. I heard alot of bad things about it before I moved here but, my experience was different.
