New Maintenance is AWESOME - We love Carter

We've lived here for about a year and a half and have had a terrible time with maintenance until Carter started a few months ago. He's taken care of a ton of work orders that were left undone for months and we can tell he actually cares about his work and the residents and it makes a significant difference. He's been able to fix some things that have been broken or not functional since we moved in and always keeps us updated on what to expect. Even if he can't get to something the same day, he makes sure to stop by and let us know he hasn't forgotten about us and when he does anticipate being able to complete it. He seems to be very good at prioritizing what is most important and I trust that when we have a serious issue (like when our dishwasher was spraying water yesterday) he'll take care of it promptly. Previous maintenance and management staff at this property has left us hanging with serious issues for weeks and even months. It is a relief to have things taken care of promptly now. He's always incredibly polite and friendly to us, our son, and our pet and respectful of our time and space. He takes the time to answer our son's questions and warn us if he's going to make noise, which is super helpful as our son is autistic and can have a big reaction to unexpected sounds. He also takes the time to answer my questions and isn't condescending towards me about maintenance stuff like many men are. I can tell he genuinely likes to share his knowledge and help others. We really appreciate him and wouldn't have resigned our lease without this huge improvement in our experience here. It is incredibly refreshing and reassuring to have someone around who actually cares and recognizes that our maintenance needs aren't just a job or an inconvenience, they are about our home and quality of life and that of our child and that matters a lot. Thank you!
