I never get the right bill, I just pay it because no one listens. The way we pay our bills seems to change monthly. I never know where to go. Not getting an actual copy of MY power bill and water bill has caused me to tell everyone not to move in.

? We’ve been renting here for a while, and overall, I’d say the homes are decent for the price point, but there are definitely some things to consider. The houses are more on the budget-friendly side, and that shows in the quality of materials and appliances—several of which don’t function well. The biggest concern for us is the location. The neighborhood backs up to the highway, which makes it extremely noisy at all hours. It also raises safety concerns—we even had a tire come off a tractor trailer and catch fire near the back of our house, which was pretty scary. Another issue is the overall surroundings. Directly across from the subdivision is an adult store and a very rundown motel, which unfortunately creates quite an eyesore and contributes to an uneasy feeling about the area. For what we’re paying, I wish there were more amenities offered—like a pool or park—especially since similar communities offer more value. That said, the maintenance team is usually quick to respond and helpful when things need fixing. The office staff, however, can be slow to return calls or emails. When we first moved in, there was a lot of confusion about how rent and utilities were being billed, and it wasn’t communicated clearly, which made things unnecessarily difficult. Overall, it’s an okay place to live temporarily, but I’d suggest that anyone considering it take time to really explore the area and ask lots of questions before signing a lease.

The road noise grom the highway can be a bit load, as well as the trains.

We have been living here at North Pointe for a little over 3 months now and we have absolutely loved it. The area is nice (Minus the new construction across the road). The staff is great even throughout the property management change. I have been nothing but happy with this facility since living here and hope to stay here for a while.
