When I first found this community, I was very pleased with the level of service I received from Diana. She was professional, helpful, and ultimately the reason I chose to move here. Unfortunately, shortly before my move-in date, I was informed that she was no longer with the company, and my experience since then has been disappointing. One of my first concerns arose when Christina contacted me claiming she had received reports that I was “jumping” in my apartment. This accusation was both surprising and frustrating, especially considering there is ongoing construction and loud noise occurring on the property regularly. As a paying resident, I did not appreciate being approached with assumptions rather than facts. On the same call, she asking me to inspect under my kitchen island for a potential water leak, despite there being no plumbing in that area. The conversation felt as though I was being treated as a possible cause of the issue rather than a resident being asked for assistance. I was also informed that maintenance would simply stop by, which felt intrusive and lacked proper communication. The most concerning experience occurred today. I returned home with my child only to discover that we were unable to access our building. Management had sent an email notifying residents of the issue, but no reasonable accommodation or alternative access plan was provided. As I write this 10:00 PM, it is unacceptable that residents can be left without access to the homes they pay for. Beyond being inconvenient, this is a serious safety concern. The property is not gated, is located near a major roadway, and does not provide the level of security to make feeling locked out even acceptable. Additionally, when I inquired about transferring to a larger unit, I was told that the property manager may or may not get back to me. I tried to give management grace because they are new, but I expect the same level of professionalism and respect before I signed my lease.
