I5 Union Market Co-Living

This apartment met all of my requirements in terms of price, location, amenities, etc. On top of all that, it is an amazing community that sets up events for residents, and management is supportive and helpful.

I just moved into i5 in NOMA, and it was a genuinely great experience. This apartment complex gives you all the best of D.C., a convenient location to metro access and the National Mall, but also a quiet neighborhood if you want to get away from the bustle. Apartments are big and bright with lots of natural light, and the community apartment amenities give you lots of options for free times. I live in this building for over a year now in a co-living apartment and I really liked that when I moved here basic amenities were easily accessible and handled through the same rent portal. Parking is a steep price add on, but so is parking in neighboring buildings in this area. A huge perk of the co-living spaces is the regular basic cleaning of the spaces. This made the value of the rent feel so much more worth it to me. The regular cleaning of common shared spaces made me less wary about living with a stranger who I would know nothing about until move in and also made me more importantly feel at ease while I was still regulating my extensive work hours. Maintenance responds to requests in record time and is willing to accept feedback! The building is a non-smoking building which isn't always enforced effectively because of obvious limitations, but I can say I never smelled smoke on my floor, room, hall and it's a relief to find a building to take that seriously. The location is also unbeatable - walking distance from smaller shops and restaurants, along with grocery stores and transportation options. Transportation ease is the main reason I chose to live here.
