What others love about this property:

Working the system

Trying to get a place in here but its filled with workers who are well over the income threshold. Employers are so desperate to keep their workers they pay their employees through food cards or bonuses lowering their pay leaving the rest of us who are supposed to be in local affordable housing on the street.

ground and building could use better upkeep

staff are great but I think the property is understaffed in return ground are not in the top of condition one would expect from a property in the Vail Valley.

Review

Location is amazing, value is there too. Maintenance is less than par; always ice in front dumpsters causing many falls, garage access, lighting and security cameras in garage are outdated and have invited many thieves in my time here, plumbing backs up occasionally, kitchen/bathroom cabinets poorly layed out and appear to be original 1995 material, ovens and dishwashers are the cheapest you can find, but hey...it's low-income housing. Staff takes up many parking spots and operate their personal small business while tenants sit on a wait list for parking spots. Other tenants have up to six parking spots to operate their transport shuttle business(s). Seems like a club of "you're in or you're out" when it comes to getting along with management, as those who are "cool" with management have special treatment. Decent maintenence crewmembers seem to come and go, but are usually fired by the senior guy, though I've never seen him doing much while the others complete most of the work.

Good location, acceptable housing

Nothing about it is special or noteworthy, but the location is fantastic (on 3 free bus lines) and indoor paid parking is a plus in winter. Package delivery is difficult to navigate sometimes, noise is less than ideal, kitchen spaces are relatively small. Electricity and heating costs are low and rent did not go up as in other places, which is a big plus. Maintenance staff is very nice, there are good places to hike in summer, and they allow dogs which is rare.

Over priced for low income

Its been an okay apartment complex to live in but there have been a lot of unacceptable things that have gone on around here. What can you expect from living in a giant place that's not really owned by any of the occupants though.
