5 reasons I wouldn't advise you to live at Sloans Lake Apartment: 1. When I first signed my lease for an agreed apartment they switch and baited me into a bottom floor of the back apartment complex where you will see many homeless people walk through as a shortcut everyday. 2. Despite living here for 7 months, they've also screwed up my rent ledger adding unnecessary charges of up to $200/monthly. Make sure you check your ledger monthly they try to get ya with junk fees. 3. Poor security, no cameras. Apartment staff knew my car was broken into and reported by maintenance however waited to tell me until I got to the office 5hrs later. 4. My apartment AC was full of dust and shower drain backed up upon move-in. 5. Debbie from front desk has told me openly she steers certain people away from the community she doesn't see as "good fits".

My experience has been wonderful here. The staff is lovely and helpful. I love the Sloan's Lake/Edgewater area and this apartment is the best bang for your buck! Apartments are clean and nice and I have not had a single pest problem (this was a huge issue with places I've lived in the past). The maintenance team and front desk associates are so kind and helpful. The pool is nothing special but it is SO nice to have in the summers. Maintenance of the property can sometimes fall behind (overflowing trash at the pool and around garbage cans) but overall, they do a wonderful job attending to the property. It's a lovely and cozy place to spend your time:)
