Lynwood Apartments

I have lived at the Lynwood Apartments because of my record and just starting out, the only place I could get approved for was Lynwood. I am grateful for Four Start giving my the opportunity to move into a 1 bedroom apartment. Living on Bannock St has not been all bad. The building is old and with that comes issues with the structure and it workings. After about a month, the sewer backed up and emptied in to my tub and apartment. This was due to the neighbors kids putting stuff down the toilet clogging it up. The nasty sewage got on everything and ruined both furniture and clothes. It took over a week for the clean up crew to decontaminate the place and all that was replaced was my box spring for my bed. When I finally started to complain that the place was unhabitable,, I was moved from apt 101 to 105. I have not yet recovered from this mess and my place is still basically empty of Furniture and plants. I fell behind rent and am now in the catch up mode in getting back to even I am grateful for Carrie and Ivan because I do believe they care and the are approachable when I need to talk to them. I recently did a welfare check on a neighbor who was found dead by Englewood Police. Lynwood is an interesting place, that is for sure. I am buying my time so I can get a nice place that is nicer than Lynwood. That will be part of the discussion when my 1 year lease is up.. Otherwise, I will continue to be a good tenant and nreigbor

Some maintance could be better, with property up keep, especially the back door slamming. And turn around on maintance call for clogged sink issues.

I've lived here for almost a year and have very few complaints. It's relatively quiet and clean, and I've always felt safe here. My only complaint is how small the apartment is, especially the kitchen. The refrigerator is super short (picture under 5ft), the stove and oven are tiny and don't fit normal-sized pans, and everything is small. Other than the kitchen, this is a decent place.

I just recently moved in. It has been really quiet in the building and I don't hear anything from other neighbors in the building, which I wanted. It's close to my job and the stores are nearby. They keep the place clean and outside neighbors have been nice.

This is a good place. Feels private even tho it’s an apt building. Feels safe. Good neighborhood near lots of places.
