Maintenance wonderful Office employees slow and unresponsive Kinda overpriced for communal laundry, central air that can only heat or cool at a time, and a pool that's unusable due to bad airflow and choking chlorine smell. Pool would be usable if the doors were opened automatically or by staff in the morning and closed at night - leaving it to the tenants is a security issue since there's no lock on the door from the pool into the building. Also since pool has bad air circulation the room is suffocating unless you open all the doors a few hours before you are going to swim. This is why nobody uses the pool. More on unresponsive office staff - we've brought up that pool door is a pretty glaring security issue a few times now, Can't directly put it on a google review because that'd be an invitation for the next round of car break-ins, but this may be contributing to the negative reviews about security. We don't care about a guard taking a nap in the parking lot for a couple hours a night, and we don't want to be charged for cameras that you guys probably don't even have turned on- after break ins you guys don't let us see the recordings or even give us an email to explain how it happened - gives the impression you're just charging for cameras that aren't being maintained and you don't know/care how the robbers got into the building.

This is an expensive place, and there are large issues with security and maintenance that have not been resolved.

The apartment 1311 Cook Street is wonderful. The hot tub is not working at the moment and am still waiting for the hot water to come back on, but otherwise everything is going smoothly

My partner and I have loved living at the Redpeak community of 1311 Cook. The pool is indoors, the shared patio space has a grill, the staff & maintanence team are wonderful and the location can’t be beat.

I'm writing this from within RentCafe because it won't stop pestering me to leave a review. I don't expect it to be posted anywhere without my consent. Anyways the apartment's pretty good, I only have a few issues. Communal laundry in the same room as the garbage disposal is a bit gross, especially if you drop your clothes on the floor you feel like you're getting trash juice on them. Central AC is a bit inconvenient because it can only either heat or cool at a time, so when it gets to the end of the winter it gets a bit hot because the AC is still only in heat mode so it can't cool, and there are no fans in the apartment. Those are my only complaints really, the apartment is comfortable, lots of space, big balcony, i'm happy with what I have.

We love the location and want to stay here but a lot of things inside the apartment are cheap. Our dishwasher has a smell that we need to clean with bleach. Pur counter tops are coming undone from the wall. There screws exposed thst could casue an injury. Our door handle is always falling off. It was a cheap renovation.
