Not so glam but lots of fun.

I wasn't looking for anything fancy when I moved in, I wanted character, a walkable area, and a balcony. I have all three. I have been here for over a year and the location is unbeatable. It's a 5-minute walk to Cheesman which is great for the pup and I. It's quiet (except for the occasional construction). I will say the appliances aren't great, my fire alarm goes off 70% of the time each time I cook (a small part may be user error but I swear that thing is at fault, and it's always comforting to hear all the neighbor's alarms going off too. The fan in the bathroom is less than great but for the price, all of these things have been fine. I love having a designated parking spot and a whole wall of closet is pretty fantastic.

Great Location

I have lived in this building for three years now and I have enjoyed most of my time here. There aren't many amenities but you are central to so many things. The views from the building are great in select apartments and the apartments have nice layouts that aren't what are found in many new buildings if you don't like that. The lack of in unit laundry is a bit of a bummer but having units on each floor is nice. Maintenance comes fast when you make a request. The A/C could be better but they've given each unit their own standing one which is a nice compromise. Overall, I continue to keep living here for another year.

Cozy apt. desirable location!

My roommate and I have lived here for almost a year now and just love it - we are renewing for a 2nd year! The cozy size has made our place fun to decorate, including a patio where we often sit outside in the warmer months. Location is right next to a bustling coffee shop and 2 pubs, and just a quick stroll from Cheeseman park. The pool is a great way to meet neighbors in the summer, without the crowds of a high-rise apt.

Expensive laundry, a parking lot that's never salted and constantly iced over, I moved-in with a bunch of issues already inside the apartment

Good Apartment

I have lived at 1265 for three years and I enjoy the large balcony, quiet building, size of the apartment, and location so much. The apartment's biggest downsides are the mediocre A/C, the elevators are slow, and the apartments aren't as nicely finished as some luxury apartments. However, the proximity to the park and many other locations is unbeatable, and the community that the apartment is in is amazing. Have loved to live here.
