The Scot

I love this apartment but have struggled with the management and maintenance. It takes a very long time to get a hold of someone. Answering emails is a standard part of most jobs - and most of the RedPeak staff work from home. It shouldn't be that hard to get a timely response in order to keep people happy.

Corporate Greed

Typical corporate practice of take the most and give the least. It’s an old building with a newly restored lobby to lure you in. All staff has been outsourced to cut costs and repair requests are ignored. I was told I’d have a working air conditioner and my apartment was over 80° Inside all summer. They’re still using Covid as an excuse. But it’s in an awesome neighborhood and my view from the balcony almost makes up for their negligence.

Couple pros, couple cons, complete honesty

Lived in the building for a year now and I am pretty alarmed at the rent increase they are proposing to renew my lease after never missing a payment or having any issues. The unit is nice, the views are great, the patio is amazing. The washer dryer set up is poor, the elevator brakes a lot and is very small, the building is old in general and doors/elevators/appliances/etc. are constantly needing maintenance. If our rent didnt increase I think this would be a great place to live... but with practically 0 amenities and outrageous parking fee's.... I think I can take my money elsewhere and get a whole lot more 'bang for my buck'.

Unsatisfactory

Honestly sick of the front door codes not working, the other day i was working out and went outside for some fresh air around 11:30 pm and the doors locked me out. I had to jump over the cement wall just to get inside my own apartments ????? Also never got my $100 refund for the instacart order i made when the elevator was down for almost a week. Which i have complained about mulitple times and sent y'all emails about ?????
