My message for yorkshire

Yorkshire is great place! Sad I bought a house but if anything ever happens I would come back! I love the staff and I love the maintenance guy Jason he’s great!

Great place to live!

I lived at this place for 2 years. I moved out when I bought a house. I absolutely loved it. It was quiet, nice looking complex, great area, great schools and walking distance to King Soopers. D20 school bus picks up kids right by the mailboxes. Brigit and Jason were very friendly staff members. I have no complaints. If I had to live in an apartment ever again these would be first on my list.

Horrendous Rent Raises, and Zero Renovations

Our experience at Yorkshire Square was in the end, very disappointing. These old, run down townhouses were a decent value at a great location when we started, but after numerous, egregious rent hikes, they became unreasonable. Yorkshire makes no effort to make these more valuable. A to the base remodel is desperately needed. The carpet was in poor repair when we moved in, and in desperate need of being stretched. Uneven floors, drafty doors and poorly sealed windows are a regular occurrence. There are unfinished seams in the baseboards, and strange inexplicable paint splatters all along the edging of the carpet. It's just not a well maintained or updated complex. That being said, Birget and the other Weidner staff I've encountered are nothing short of wonderful. They are patient, warm, friendly, and understanding. I cannot speak highly enough of Birget, she is one of the finest complex managers I've ever seen. I wish Weidner would invest more into these units. They could truly be a great place to live if they would make them affordable, tenable places. The location and parking situation are great! But so much is lacking that it makes them unlivable for the amount they are asking of their faithful tenants. At the time of my moving out the entire complex was half empty. Some long standing tenants we talked to had said that after 6 years of regular raises, they were being pushed out. It's not even like Weidner is trying to "gentrify" the complex. Needless rent hikes with zero updates. Shame on you Weidner.
