Vista View Review

I've lived here a couple months. I like it, it feels safe, its peaceful, mostly quiet, trash is easy to get to, there is assigned parking so I always have a spot. Parking can be tricky for guest but it hasnt been an issue. Staff is super helpful and friendly. My apartment doesnt have a disposal, but I can live with that because everything else is nice.

Awful Experience

Payed on time for 3 years, and when I tried to renew my lease, they decided to force us to move out and not renew us. Never asked for payment assistance, even during covid. They wanted to charge more for the apartment, even after trying to give us a 12% rent increase in one year for a perfect tennant on auto pay for my bills. Maintenance using leaf blowers at 6:45AM 3 feet from my brand new car and directly next to all residents bedroom windows as he went along. Doing that so early violates city ordinances. Constantly harassed about using my air conditioning when they didnt think it was appropriate. Have see rats run into support structures and tracks on my balcony. Almost had 2 cars hit our apartment after driving through and destroying the black fence on the street level over the 3 year time. very unsafe place with bad management, bad maintenance, and even if you pay your bills on time, you might be allowed to live there for long depending on "market prices". Awful all around.

We thank you for taking the time to leave a review, and we'd like to address your concerns. We truly do empathize with how a rent increase can impact one's quality of life, and so we only do it after careful consideration and when absolutely necessary to keep up with trends in the market (the current trend being, unfortunately, rent increases across the board). As for the leaf blowers, we contract out to companies who handle that for us, and so we'll talk to our current contractor about reducing the noise. We have a monthly pest control service, however, if we're correct in assuming who you are, they were denied access to your unit whenever they came to fulfill a service request. The reason we do not allow residents to use their air conditioner when it's colder than 60 degrees outside is that HVAC manufacturers usually recommend users do not operate their units for prolonged periods of time if the temperature is lower than 65 degrees Fahrenheit. Regarding the cars, the unfortunate reality is that the building faces a busy road that often ices over. We're unable to control how people choose to drive down that road in dangerous conditions, however we do have a fence, a sidewalk, and 25 feet separating the road from the building. We're saddened that you've left with this perception of us, and we wish you nothing but the best moving forward. Sincerely, The team at Vista View
