It's a Stepping Stone Apartment

Austin Park Apartment Homes is a great stepping stone apartment complex if you are new to the city. My boyfriend and I were new to Colorado and even newer to Colorado Springs and were able to rent the apartment with the "sight unseen". This was a big deal for us because we were not able to just take a flight out here to view an apartment. My main concern with the apartment complex is that there is no in-unit laundry and the laundry facilities are two washers and two dryers for two entire buildings. I could not tell you how many times I have lugged my weeks (or two weeks) worth of laundry down the stairs, outside and into the next building, only to be met by a line of other people needing to do laundry. So when you do get the chance to do your laundry, you have to pay for the washers and dryers, which okay, I get, but the price to do laundry on top of the cost of rent is honestly insane. Every week, I averaged about 6-7 dollars doing two-three loads of laundry. The noise levels in the building really depends on who your neighbors are. One of our neighbors had a dog that would bark any time he heard a noise. Annoying, but it's not something that I ever complained about. Yes, you can hear your neighbors BUT you are also living in an apartment with 100+ other residents. The location of this apartment complex is AMAZING. Probably one of my favorite things about living here. You are right in the middle of town and close to everything. You can literally walk to just about any place you can think of. The staff at this apartment complex are great. We had to put in a maintenance request once while living here and basically, you put in the request on the website and then wait for word back. I expected it to take several days to fix our problem because of the amount of residents. This was not the case. Our issue was resolved within hours. All in all, if you are new to the city or just getting on your feet, Austin Park Apartments homes would be great for you.

Safety+Comfort=Happy People

*Nature and wildlife. **Trails ponds and amazing views. **Staff concerned about your well-being. **Tight security for a sense of safety. **Garages to protect your vehicle from weather. **24 hour maintenance that actually comes! **We love your "Fur Babies"! Lots of places to run. **Clean grounds, no ??, all the dog centers tidy.?? **Trash shoots in the hall! No walking in the snow. **Elevators makes moves easier no doubt. **Gym, Sauna, pool and club area for movies. Ok I realize I sound like a commercial for this place and I just live here. But, I really do enjoy each thing I listed above. Zac is the manager or one of them and he rocks! Like he goes out of his way to help you. Shaylynn is a leasing specialist and dang good at her job. She takes care of whatever you need right away she is extremely fast and focused. We love her! And then there's Ken... Lol... He is the maintenance supervisor and will fix anything and everything. Not to mention he is a complete pleasure to have in your home. His exciting personality and funny banter makes his visits enjoyable. ??
