Landscaping

I have lived here for 3 years and used to love it here. As much as this location and space is amazing the property lacks care that it used to have. We are the only apartment complex in town with no landscaping. The lawn hasnt been edged in years and takes a month to mow, all the plants have over grown on the walkways and not trimmed or hedged, between the rocks and flower beds have been over run with weeds and they dont get removed. The overall over growth of weeds and plants and lack of property care and landscaping has been a very disappointing change over the last year. I see maintenance brushing the pool multiple times a week but the lawn hasnt been mowed in a month. The amaenties are kept clean but the rest of the property remains untouched most of the week. The dog poop in the dog park is often left and not picked up. The smoking throughout the property is still bad. I do not smell it anymore luckily hit there is still black ash over my steps every morning and sometimes find the end of joints and pipes on the stairs too. Overall I do love this property and wish to stay as it is a great location and have enjoyed my time over the last 3 years in the apartments but the lack of landscaping and keeping the property clean beyond the amenities and pool area is disappointing as when i first moved here this was a focal point. I hope to see a change in landscaping and property care in the near future.

I enjoy living in Castle Rock, you have a good view of the Castle rock from the apartments (if you live on the correct side of the complex). I do wish it was more central to main street.

Dishonest practices after moving out

Auburn Brook was pleasant to live in during my stay, but they have ruined the experience after move out. I moved out in June 2024. Auburn Brook has refused to refund me my deposit and continues to try to charge me an additional amount instead. I have called and emailed the company, and they will not respond with any details about why they won’t return my $300 deposit or why they want to charge me a $200 move out fee.

Amazing Home

Auburn Brook has been an incredible home for us for 1 year so far. The maintenance team is quick and amazing. The front office is organized and communicative. The premise is always kept clean and there is a mutual respect amongst residents.
