I really loved this property, though there have been a couple of frustrating elements recently. The staff is very friendly, but I have needed a response to something and have sent numerous follow-ups and voicemails and have not heard back over the course of five months. The parking system is frankly ridiculous. If you have ANY change to your license plate (change of a temporary one, a rental car, etc), you must immediately change it on the online system. The towing company checks no information on your car except for the license plate. I have paid to park here for my entire stay at Rockvue, and my car got towed because I forgot to change the license number online (I briefly had a temporary license plate because I purchased a new car), regardless of the fact that I have been paying every month to rightfully park there. There is more identifying information on my car in the system (make, model, year, etc), but it didn't matter, they towed it anyway. Rockvue staff let me know they would do their best to vouch for me in helping me get back my car, or at least get a refund for all of the months I paid to park, but they did not follow through with that promise. $375 to pick up my car and about $100 worth of permit parking later, I have my car back. The same thing happened to my boyfriend, but he had to pay $475 because it is a holiday. Please hear me that I understand the fault was technically mine. I had an incorrect license plate in their system. In my opinion, however, this system is outdated and predatory. The system should include some kind of identifying tag or sticker to verify people who pay, because this is such a disrespectful waste of resident's time, money, and energy. Other than that significant issue, I have loved my stay here. It is clean, people are kind, I feel safe here (except for my car staying put), and when I can get in touch with admin, they are kind.
