Everything is good except for the seisimic retrofit project, which kept on stopping our ability to park at random times. It would have been better if it was better communicated, and a full timeline was presented so that we have a better idea of what is going on. Steps have been taken in a positive direction regarding this though.

The current property management is doing a lot of upgrades to the complex and they're doing a great job updating it. However, the building is old and lacks any sound dampening between units but you get used to hearing your neighbors over time. The only other noise complaint is that there are a few complexes around this complex that people play loud music from regularly and it gets old. It's not the complexes fault, I know but it still exists and it's unfortunate. The unit itself is nice inside and has updated appliances and the staff/management do everything they can to help make the tenants comfortable or work with them and I greatly appreciate that. It's an easy walk to Redwood City downtown and that's a great bonus.

Been @117 for 3 years. The biggest issue is the heat in the summer. Lease prevents people from getting window AC units and for some reason (probably shoddy insulation) it's hotter inside than outside most of the day. Another major issue is the on-site coin operated laundry. 20 units and two machines with limited operating hours is ridiculous. You will be waiting to put your laundry in, I guarantee it. During the pandemic the coin shortage made this EXTREMELY annoying to not only juggle other tennants' schedules (and the constantly breaking down machines) but also the fact that one had to go to the bank for almost every single laundry day. Please just put a proper lock on the door, charge me an extra 100 dollars a month rent, and make the machines free. Also add 2 more washers and driers somewhere.
