Overall, the service provided by Megan and Kevin at 1090 Jervis St. is outstanding. Their professionalism, responsiveness, and support are a major reason I continue to rent here; I truly appreciate having such reliable assistance. The building interiors are well designed, the common areas are kept very clean, the location is excellent, and the rental pricing remains competitive for the neighborhood. Areas for Improvement 1. Noise Insulation My biggest concern is noise transfer between units. I can hear conversations and day-to-day sounds from neighbors extremely clearly, even when they’re speaking quietly. It feels as though the building has very limited insulation. If possible, installing additional insulation or adding exterior insulation panels to unit walls during tenant turnover would significantly improve noise control and overall comfort. 2. Parking Availability Parking is very limited. I am still on the waitlist, and there is no guest or temporary parking available, which can be inconvenient for visitors. 3. Smoking & Lack of Air Conditioning The combination of frequent outdoor smoking and the lack of air conditioning is challenging - particularly in the summer. With no AC, I need to keep my windows open, and smoke often enters my unit. This is frustrating and concerning from a health perspective.
