modern convenient charm

I have been a Retreat Rio Salado resident for 6 months and I enjoy living here. The location is perfect for employment or recreation in the East Valley to include walking distance to Tempe Marketplace or Mesa Riverview. I rarely hear my neighbors or dogs barking, with the exception of the animal shelter across the street when staff arrive to care for them each morning, and I have acclimated to the daily airplanes directly over the apartments; less planes at night. The prices are currently fair and the maintenance is quick and reliable. There are plenty of dumpsters and they are emptied frequently, rarely full. The swimming pool and courtyard are well-kept. I, and many other residents, do not like the parking policy. If you are considering leasing one of these properties, I highly recommend asking specific questions about your designated parking spaces or a garage and negotiating monthly fees. I also recommend asking questions about guest parking if you ever intend to invite guests to visit you. The current app (Zark) is not effective.

Overall Very Good

Location is perfect, pool is very nice. and the rooms are nice and updated. Overall, very good value, and spacious even in a studio.

Overall great place

Despite being close to the highway, it's not noisy for the inner buildings which is nice. The amenities are great, but parking is a lost cause.

Location is good. But, not a luxury apt

Things to know before you sign a lease: Staff is rude and condescending There's NO guest parking Amenities can be broken for months at a time or just don't work Buildings aren't cleaned regularly I don't know of any other "luxury" apartment complexes that remove door handles instead of fixing them, or just zipties a gate shut.
