My car has been broken into 4 times.

During my residency, I experienced multiple vehicle break-ins, broken gates, and building doors that were left unlocked for extended periods — allowing unauthorized people to access the property freely. Despite following every safety instruction, my car was vandalized again, leaving the ignition destroyed and window shattered. I reached out numerous times to the Cushman & Wakefield legal team. Instead of accountability, I was repeatedly referred back to my lease. My formal requests for (1) security repairs, (2) rent credit or reimbursement, (3) acknowledgment of prior complaints, and (4) written safety documentation were all denied or ignored. As a single parent, student, and working professional, it’s devastating to be treated with such disregard. Tenants deserve to feel safe where they live. VB on 12th Street continues to fail in that responsibility, and management has shown zero concern for resident safety or property protection. Please think twice before signing a lease here — security negligence is a real and repeated problem.

Decently Pleasant Place to Live

My time ar VB on 12th was mostly delightful. I enjoyed calling this place home as my first apartment while I moved across country. Very modern, quiet for the most part, and in a great location. The only negatives about the complex are security (entry gates and doors are constantly broken), parking garage (homeless people often go and vandalize cars), and trash (dumpster gets destroyed by homeless people). Other than those things, nice amenities, good location, and great rent prices.
