Fair-good place to live
I really dont utilize my apartment very much; I work until late each day and am only there every other weekend. Maintenance staff(Louis) is great and housekeeping/cleaning lady keeps things looking nice. I am concerned that corporate is limiting Christy from doing a better job for your tenants. I would thing that you would want to retain quality residents like myself who are professional people, aren't home much(decreases wear/tear on your property), pay on time or early, and in general respect and take extra-good care of the facilities. However, I am led to believe otherwise with my exorbitant rent increase($150) after only one short year. I am a business owner myself(almost 23 years now) so I can respect fair market value for a product, etc. but think that you may be missing the big picture. It costs your company each time a resident moves out: there is lost revenue due to down time to re-rent the apartment, cost associated with repairs, cleaning the floors, etc. Now with my particular case, you all won't have a lot of downtime because I a have left it in emaculate condition, but you will lose on the other end when whatever tenant replaces me, and potentially damages your property, as did the resident before me(and as I have noticed with some of my other neighbors/vacated apartments). Keep this in mind-a few more dollars each month may translate to hundreds of dollars of repairs. Might want to re-think your policy.

I have lived at the complex for 10 years, everything have been great up until a few years ago. It hasn't been the same since Tina (office manager) left. I feel safe, it is quiet, but rental increases have been significant. If I hear the words "market value" increase one more time I'm gonna scream. Of course gas, food, etc have increased but not my paycheck. The complex don't have a business office, community room, fitness center,swimming pool, we don't even have a soda machine anymore....what are we paying for? Tenants are leaving and I don't blame them, if we are expected to pay outrageous rent then make it worth our while.
