The Southmore is THE BEST

It may not be the newest or the most modern of apartment buildings, but The Southmore is a wonderful place to live. Residents are friendly, polite, and quiet, the location is top-notch (close to a walk-in clinic, dentist, a Goodwill store, bus stops, the Chinook Mall, and the Chinook c-train station), and the neighborhood is clean and safe. The resident manager John Kucharski is very efficient, approachable, and just an awesome person overall. As long as we are renting in Calgary, The Southmore will always be our first choice.

Southmore is great place!

Great location, near bus stops and train station. Fairly quiet area. Very kind building manager. Best Investment Properties office is also easy to talk with. Just wish rent wasn't so high. :(

I would have to agree with a previous reviewer that said that neighbors are very inconsiderate in this building. Nobody knows how to walk down the stairs quietly. Adults and kids run and jump down the stairwells and hallways making it very loud! People have loud conversations in the hallways and slam their doors. Too bad that nobody teaches their kids manners anymore...
