Whether you want to share your apartment with a service dog that’s the lifeblood of your existence, or just Mr. Hamster, the family superstar, you should know that not all Wailuku, HI rental properties will welcome pets. It all comes down to the pet policy in place at the community of your choice. Some landlords always have their arguments against them: cats destroy furniture, a bird is always loud, your dog will eat the doormat—we’ve heard them all… And regardless if their assumptions have anything to do with the reality, there’s not much you can do to make them change their minds. This used to make finding pet-friendly units really challenging, but we have the solution! Browsing RentCafe’s rental listings as a pet-parent has never been easier: use the Pet Policy filter and explore 7 properties in Wailuku, HI, some of them offering pet-friendly housing for as low as $1,300. Out of the 7 units, you are guaranteed to find the one with the pet-friendly rooms that you and your four-legged bestie will soon call home. Note that you can filter for cat-friendly and dog-friendly apartments separately!
