    4.5/5 Carol C. on Sep 2, 2023

I've lived at Imperial Lofts for more than three years. Selling my house and moving here was the best decision I've ever made. The staff - from manager to maintenance - is wonderful. The apartments are beautiful with stainless appliances, granite counters, washer and dryer included, pet friendly, great amenities, and so much more.

Tips for renting in Sugar Land, TX

Does Sugar Land sound like the place for you? Before you start packing, let’s take a quick look at some of the local tenant laws.

For the Houston metro, landlords are required to provide a safe and livable environment for their tenants, which includes working hot water and heating.

If repairs are needed and the landlord fails to make them within a reasonable amount of time of being informed, you have the right to terminate the lease or even sue. As long as you don’t have any past due rent, simply give your landlord notice that you plan to sue or end the lease and they’ll have just seven days to fix the problem—or face the consequences.

Of course, all rental agreements are slightly different, so make sure to look over your lease before signing!
