And if you’ve got a skater in the family, they can practice their tricks at the Sugar Land Skatepark.
All of that moving will surely work up an appetite. For that, there’s Cajun cuisine at The Rouxpour Restaurant & Bar, Tex-Mex at Pappasito’s Cantina, or pizza and waffles at the local favorite, Jupiter Pizza and Waffle Company.
And the adults won’t want to miss World of Beer, where you’ll find over 560 brews from around the world. Though if you want to do some cooking at home, the Farmers Market at Imperial has everything you need at great prices.
The First Colony Mall and Sugar Land Town Square will handle the rest of your shopping needs in the city, including everything from clothing to specialty shops. There’s even a cinema in the mall!
For a little culture and history, make sure to stop by the Houston Museum of Natural Science at Sugar Land and enjoy all of the interesting exhibits. In March, the Cultural Kite Festival is another can’t-miss family event—and the best part is, it’s free! And in April, the adults will love the annual Sugar Land Wine & Food Affair.
