What I love about this property: -> Staff is professional & friendly -> Beautiful view from my apartment -> Walking distance to Old Town Occoquan which includes restaurants, stores, a post office, a park, events, and art studios. -> Right off of I-95 exit, right on the border of Fairfax County and Prince William County -> Close to lots of parks, both regional and state -> So far, all neighbors are friendly
Betsy R. on May 24, 2022Staff is professional and kind, maintenance issues are few and quickly handled. There's not much in the way of amenities, if you have kids there is a playground, if you have dogs there is a small fenced in dog park. Parking is doable, you can always find a spot but it's not always close. Noise isn't too bad, sound wall blocks most of the noise from the highway and I only hear neighbors when they're in the hall. Cozy, not too expensive place to live that is clean and well kept. Great for young families or people with pets.

The consistency of Courtney's great customer service is remarkable! Every single time I have needed assistance (in any way) she has had the same approach. She provides the services requested, suggest different alternatives or points in the right direction, even when this means going out of her way to walk me through the steps to get it done (e.g. enrolling for "x" or "y" online services, etc...). It has been a while since I've seen someone not only meet, but exceed my expectations as a customer. Certainly this treatment has made it easier for me to stay at The Mark another year (currently my 3rd year).
Kevin on Jul 8, 2020Honestly cannot believe I pay 1400+ a month for this place - (cleaning) staff is nice but everything outside of that is pretty bad - no visitor parking, no bathroom ventilation, small kitchen. Then there's the constant maintenance and service interruptions which is fine/whatever every now and then, and I know some of it is unavoidable but I lived at my last apartment for a year (1250 rent) and never had issues with water/heating/plumbing (literally not even once) yet I've only been here for barely 4 months and have had issues pop up for all three. Honestly this stuff wouldn't bother me so much... If I weren't paying 1400 a month for the privilege. Also how poorly planned is maintenance that an entire building has to go without water for up to 8 hours??? Unreal
