Karolina R. on Nov 27, 2020Took 3 weeks to generate lease (moved mid November in) and still unsure what is the lease status is, not able to reach the leasing office. On the move in day office made me sign paper version of the lease and informed days later that the signed document is not valid. Received wrong keys on the move in day and the door lock to the apartment needed to be change in order to get into the apartment. The rent amount and move in quote in the online account were different from the ones that the leasing office charged me, right now they are no longer available online. Since I have no lease and there are no quotes online, unsure how much the next months rent will be. Received registration code and fob key after moving in. Do not know if I have a selected parking spot or can park anywhere on the property, since leasing office is not replying I just part in the garage hoping my car will not be towed away :)

Cons: The old carpet in the hallways has definitely triggered my asthma. The washers and dryers are inconveniently located and constantly breaking.

Just steps away from every conceivable need: groceries, restaurants, hardware, park, library, pharmacies and entertainment abound! Unfortunately so does noise, both from the street and one's neighbors. And finding parking for friends and family can be nearly impossible. For nonsmokers, the presence of secondhand smoke from neighbors is a real nuisance, as is the dog urine and poop on the surrounding sidewalks. Amenities such as pool and gym are great, but laundry rooms need improvement and it would be nice if free cable Internet and TV were offered. Currently pool gym and community room are closed due to COVID-19, making office staff harder to reach. Maintenance staff are superb -- they do their utmost to keep the old buildings functioning.

Rosie on Oct 30, 2023I’ve lived at RLF Garden Apts for 3+ years now. It feels so serene, almost like youre in Palm Springs instead of Los Angeles. The location is great and Ive always Felt so safe here. Also, the maintenance is top-tier, anytime I’ve had any sort of problem whether it was minor or urgent, the maintenance team was always so responsive and communicative. The gym and pool is great too. Oh! and theres also free coffee :)

The staff is incredible Eric the manager he stuck by me and did everything in his power to protect me and my son and has been incredible, through the Covid lockdown I fell behind on rent and corporate patiently waited for the past two years and the city finally paid off my large balance! My son actually grew up here at a young age and now is 17 he loves it! It’s safe and I have incredible neighbors who I love cooking and sharing great meals! Oh BTW did I say I’m a fantastic cook! Looking forward to the next four years! Thank you Warner for giving me a clean safe and excellent home!! Maintenance is incredible they are spot on a come quickly and reliable service and fix things immediately! Here’s to another four years ??????

Anonymous on Jun 1, 2023We were some of the first people to move in here. The staff were very helpful with the process and took great care of us. The building has started to fill up as more people are moving to the property. With more people things usually start to degrade; that has not been the case here. The day time staff stays on top of things, the maintenance team is fast to respond to any request, and the night watchmen actually show up and patrol the property. I strongly recommend Legacy at Hayward.
