Moved in and the AC wasn’t working, water line had a leak, fridge needed a replacement water filter. My biggest frustration is that there is no local point of contact. My maintenance appointment for the AC was rescheduled for 2 days later without anyone calling to tell me. No explanation given. It was 85 degrees in my house and I only had the corporate number to contact and they gave me the blanket response: “Your technician was unable to arrive today, I will put in a request to have them arrive sooner than the next 2 days.” I never was contacted prior to the appointment. I requested a callback from a supervisor and received no contact. There also needs to be a more informed walkthrough of the property. I had no idea there was even a crawl space in my home until I was informed by the internet tech. The crawl space had an easily accessible doorway to underneath the house that was completely unlocked, with easy access to anyone. There was literally just a plastic spoon left inside the lock mexhanism in order to keep the door from staying wide open. There needs to be a local point of contact for issues as they arise, rather than an impersonal and unclear corporate line that you have to call into.
