Reminder of why I stopped renting years ago

House is adequate, neighbors don't care for rentals in their neighborhood. Largest complaints are the barrage of calls asking me to renew my lease. At least one daily call seems to be the norm. Maintenance is slower than molasses. First visit from a maintenance tech ended with just push start the dishwasher if it gets stuck again. I push started the motor about three more times before summoning maintenance again on 12/30/22. Second maintenance service was scheduled approximately 14 days out, cut out of work early just to get a call from maintenance that they would order a new dishwasher if I could provide model and serial number off existing unit, information sent. So it looks like on 2/16/23 I will have a functional dishwasher installed. I could have went to Best Buy and installed it myself in an afternoon. However this is just a reminder of the perils of renting.
