Honestly it’s not the worst but to help with the problems I think administration should care more about academic success than if the football or basketball or track team won. They should care more about the music program and they should probably calm down the field trip dress code. Deadlines should not be stretched because it’s unfair that the kids who don’t get things done on time get the same grade as kids who do.

I'm a 7th grader right now and all I have to say for my 2nd year of Edison , I'm saying it's not completely bad but not amazing either. Same teachers are selfish and students don't respect other students. I get bullied in my 1st period lot still. But , what I hate about the school , your not allowed to express your self! There ridiculous rules! Like, you can't have anything to drink but water...not even favored! I hate water , that's why I bring bottles that you can't see the drink , ;) ! Your not allowed to color your hair! All I have to say is.... I wouldn't recommend this school!

This school is a large disappointment. Rules are set but not inforced, the focus seems to be on sports not academics. Most of the classes are extremely EASY there are even bogus classes that should be against the law. Response to parents is extremely rude.

"Administrative staff is extremely rude, and uncommunicative. The ""horror"" stories from other parents are appalling! Multiple yearly NCLB failures of this school mean I WILL be exercising my right next year to send my children to an excellent alternative (Blennerhassett) instead of this mismanaged school. The Principals attitude toward parents/students, discipline style, and communication are much more than lacking. In my opinion, the only way to increase the NCLB scores is to have a student/teacher/parent relationship that fosters support and communication. None of this exists within the current Administration. Without this support; there is little to no chance of increasing this schools score. I cannot help but feel the utmost disappointment, irritation, and general disgust concerning this school and it's Administration. The Wood County Board of Education would do well to recognize and act to resolve the abhorrent problems at this school. Thankfully, there is the NCLB (No Child Left Behind) legislation to protect our children from this type of mismanagement within the School, District, County, and State."
