One of the best in the area! We loved RAHS. My daughter did so well there, her teachers were terrific and they DO offer a great deal of programs geared toward future college goals. Not sure why anyone would say otherwise, as now that we have moved we no longer have the options Reedsburg offered. They do offer Accounting 1 & 2, Intro into Health Occupations, as well as a lot more. We are not wealthy and my daughter was never made to feel any differently than anyone else. She has a very good attitude and great personality, so maybe it is all perspective? I would love for her to finish out her last two years at Reedsburg, but with moving this is no longer an option. We will really miss it and can only hope she gets the same level of education and support that she did there. Good job RAHS, you ROCK :)

There are still issues of bullying, serious enough that there should be police action taken for harassment and yet things go untouched as teachers are held in the bind of morally standing up for the right thing and risking loss of their jobs over taking a stand and having some bully's parent get angry and defensive. There is a wide divide between the 'haves' and the 'have nots'. There are a few teachers that show active favoritism toward the students that are from better parts of town, better families. While this could be because those teachers are simply uncomfortable interacting with the other students from less wealthy families, this should be something that they should get over. The school itself academically is still struggling to break out of the cookie cutter mold and catch up with today's job situation. The idea is still to gear us/students for college, but the focus should be on what career/job and THEN college. There is so little preparation in this area that is sets everyone back. There are so few classes geared toward Accounting, Technology/Programming, and medical areas -all key work fields now- that it is a hindrance.

I love what this school did for my child. The teachers my child had really cared about students. The principal sits with his students during lunchtime and gets to know them. That is unheard of in other schools. I believe and have observed that both the administration and teachers really want to help our children become successful. And they LIKE their students. This school certainly turned my child's life around.
