Amazing staff and students. Great family oriented environment. I would recommend this school to everyone! Sure, there are minor things that can be shored up, but no one is perfect. The focus is right where it needs to be - On students and their learning!

This place is a very safe environment and overall fun place to be, but the fairness between grade levels involving fun days, field trips, and niceness to students lie myself. Also when they need to address a problem, they will talk about it once and be done with it, and this thing called E.L.T or Extended Learning Time is completely idiotic! Just have longer classes instead of wasting our time and yours with just having us sitting in the commons doing absolutely nothing!

I attend GMS and I feel that the academic program is good for some kids but the others kids don't get enough help which leads to them failing. I feel the sports program should be more strict about grades. you can still participate if have as low as a D in classes. it should be changes to having to be at least a C or above to participate. I feel that the "core concepts" are the modern way of teaching but, they should have waited to start it till high school or started it earlier in our child hood because it was a big change for us. I feel that if you have a special needs child the teachers will do their best to help, but if it doesn't suit your preferences, go to another school. for being in the school for 3 years, I have observed the bully is at about a 70-75%. most of the time it goes un noticed. they should invest in a better bullying prevention program and take it serious right away. as far as the music and arts program, the school has developed a GREAT program. it is a lot of fun and you learn the necessary term, and more! ELT ( extended learning time) could be more fun with having open gym more, and no more enrichment activities. the grading is fair to ability.

This school is not good for special needs students. 7th grade team of teachers do not work as a team and the school administration leaves A LOT to be desired. Special needs students have their work done by the teacher or aid and do not learn what they should. Had to have several meetings with administrators and teachers to let our child do the work. They ignored several emails and consequence plans from parent.
