I transferred to this school from public school halfway through 6th grade and I have never regretted this choice! At public school I was picked on but here everyone is kind. I graduated from Christ the King this year and it was hard to say goodbye to everyone. I never understood what teachers meant by you school is like a second family until I came here. When I first transferred to CK the the schoolwork was significantly more challenging than my previous school (in New York state and before that in West Richland) but the teachers are extremley helpful! I learned about the true meaning of friendship here. At my old school friends only exsisted to make you look cool but here it's okay to be your crazy embaressing self. This school changed me I was a terrible, lazy, unreligous person but now I work harder, I'm nicer to people (hopefully), and most importantly, I love God! This school sparked my love for music and theatre which I am forever greatful for. The teachers are amazing people and work personally with the students. I also apreciate the smaller class size comcompared to the public schools in the Tri-Cities. Anyone who says they don't like this school is looking for a school that is perfect in every single way, which, of course, is impossible. I would recommend this school for anyone. Also, the stereotypes that private schools are full of snobby rich kids, or that at smaller schools people have less friends are NOT true. I wish I could share every amazing story I have about this school but I'm afraid most of you are already bored so let me just tell you that I will always have a special place in my heart for this school!

My children love this school. The teachers go above and beyond even attending their students' extracurricular activiities. At Christ the King they educate the whole child by encouraging service to others, kindness and respect. In the greater community CK students are known to have the best work ethic. Also, they have wonderful parent involvement and a welcoming atmosphere for new families.

I wouldn't send my child here if it were free. The education is not rooted in Catholic teaching like they claim. They totally pander to parents, which is why ratings are high. The classes are overcrowded and no one even follows the dress code. Teachers are sub par with little classroom control. It's a shame we'll never get back the year we wasted at this sham of a school.
