We LOVE HH! The Principal, Stephanie Strader, is a kind, loving and effective leader and you can tell she has a wonderful relationship with not just the kiddos, but the staff as well. They have a zero tolerance policy on bullying and practice teaching the kids to be inclusive and kind. After several years of struggle in a neighboring district, we feel beyond blessed to have ended up at HH :)

Harbor Heights, and the staff, have been wonderful in welcoming my 3rd grader with special needs. They found the perfect balance of keeping him in gen ed, while providing the in-class supports and Para he so desperately needed. The principals, Stephanie and Nikki, are incredibly kind and you can tell they love and value each student. We feel incredibly blessed to be at Harbor Heights!!

This school is beyond the past for no return when it comes to students, they allow bulling of other students let alone students that are made public for being "special needs" not diformity but not being able to learn like other students and will not work with their students and go as far as to ignoring those types of students who need extra help and my child who is special and learns differently and slower than others but is smart . But she is deathly scared of the school, teachers and other students. She has come home being soaked because she is not allowed to use the restroom even though they know she needs to. The school goes behind parents back and their wishes and talks to the students without parents approval. We have told them several times about specialized testing she needs along with doctors notes in regards to her needing the test and have yet to have it done and still not even close to giving her the test. They failed her because they didn't have time nor want to put in the effort to help. Their staff is beyond disrespectful with how they talk to parents and even children. They don't communicate with the parents about things that are going on and even if they did it would be months after what ever it was that happened. They don't ever save documents let alone anything in the file or they lose the documents. I am beyond applaud at the staff and principal and assistant principal. They run the school like a gym and don't do anything by the book. I will be going to the school board with proof of the disrespect and non communications from the school after us trying to talk to them, bring harm to my child and allowing violence and child endangerment. The school board aND who else I need to talk to to find justice for all who are to afraid to do so. I have been in contact with a lawyer to go after the school for all of it. Sorry but I am done with my child being mistreated and neglected along with my child coming home hurt and no explanation.
