My 2 girls came in 4th and 7 grade , they were both welcomed by all kids in their grade. Very high standards accidentally, both my girls are thriving in this school both academically and as great people.

The Woodlands Christian Academy is stellar! Our daughter absolutely LOVES the school, her teachers, friends, school subjects, and opportunities for growth through "warrior leagues" for lower school students. She is gaining exposure to many sports through this program and has opportunities to participate in art and speech contests as well as fabulously produced musicals and she is only in 2nd grade! I recommend TWCA to all of our friends looking for godly professionals to teacher their children, care for their children, and prepare their children for 21st century careers. A+++++

We have attended Woodlands Christian for 5 years, now in high school both of my children are thriving and have tons of opportunities to be involved in many activities on campus. The faculty and administration are truly invested in my children's success.

We love our first year here. We have two children in the lower school. Very happy that the faculty goes out of the way to make newbies feel welcomed. We have been to a few private schools with job changes, and both of my children have felt welcome here since day one. My wife and I find the community to be an easy one to blend in to. Not too stuffy, strong commitment to faith...but not self-righteous. Teachers have brought my kids along academically and grown their love and knowledge of Jesus. I suppose at every school, there will be those who long for the good ol' days, and miss this teacher or that one. We are happy with the present, and are excited for the future of TWCA without a doubt!

This school has lost its way. My two children began at TWCA in 3rd and 5th grade and remained until my oldest child graduated. Lower school was a great experience. I felt like they were getting a superior education and that every person on the staff truly cared about my children. Over they last 6 or six years, the priority of the school has really shifted toward growth. There has been an amazing amount of teacher turn over. I have seen all of the best teachers leave, only to be replaced my mediocre teachers. I still felt like it was a good, Christian environment, so in spite of my instincts to find a new school, I kept sending my children to school there. A few years ago, the school hired a new dean of students and it has a dire result. It is no longer a Christ-Centered school, no matter what they tell you. The staff has their obvious favorite students who can do no wrong. If your child is not one of these chosen ones, then they will be treated like second class citizens by the administration. If your child is accused of misbehavior, they are guilty until proven innocent, even without proof. It seems like they now care more about appearances than they do about the actual children. As to the academics, my older child graduated with A's, yet felt completely unprepared for college. He, along with 3 other children who graduated in the same year, had to drop a college calculus class, in spite of having taken a dual credit calculus class in high school, because they were completely lost. In addition, one of my son's most difficult class is the freshman bible class at Baylor. It is a basic over-view of the old testament. After looking over the syllabus and talking with him, I was shocked to find out that, after 8 years of Christian education, most of this was new information for him. He told me he had never heard of Rehoboam and Jeroboam. Our younger child in no longer at TWCA. He is attending the local public high school. The only class he feels like he is ahead in is Physics. In Spanish, he is very far behind and is having to go to a tutor to catch up. He is so much happier now that he is no longer at TWCA and I wish we had taken him out years ago. I feel like the last 4 years there were a waste of money.
