I hate it so much. The teachers can’t teach and are so rude to the students, and the homework is unbearable.

One son's at McCullough now, & in outside PE (gymnastics). Another son will start there in 2019. I'm thankful to the principal for giving us parents so much info at the beginning of the year. Like, don't take more than 2 ap classes, for example. Kids we know in Memorial who took 4 without info-or anything about anything from their principal compared to what we got-are staying up 'til 2 nightly w/ homework. Principal covered everything and made our lives easier-no wonder we like him. The posts about bullying and football could be at any school. Depends on the particular group of kids in his/her class-not much upon the school itself. I was bullied 4 years, middle/high at Kinkaid (Memorial). My sister, theater crowd + cheerleader 3 years later, had a great time, same school, in a kind class where everyone got along. If bullying is a real problem for your child, then take the initiative and change schools. That's what my parents did for me after they figured it out, and I finished at Episcopal in Bellaire. The Woodlands' public schools are incredible academically and staff-wise, IMO, and even comparable to Houston's best private schools in where a student can go from them. I keep up with many high school friends whose kids attend them now-like we all did growing up-and all of our kids are learning at the same high rate.

It begins and ends with the principal. Mr. McCord has been at this many years. This man is a hard core guys guy. He puts on a good show and tries to be funny and present a facade like he is in touch with the students (he remembers names well, but it ends there). He is very close-minded and out of touch. One example... he suggested that my son will learn more hanging out before, in between and after games from his team mates and coaches than he will in the class room. Off balance, and downright bad judgement. Guys and men talking smack and harassing each other is more valuable than time in the class room?

The school is large, but there is something for everyone. My daughter has had a positive experience. She does have a lot of homework, but she is able to manage it and her other extracurricular activities. She has thrived at MCC thanks to all the teachers and staff.

The children at this school are a cancer. The bus drivers are slow and unreliable. All the teachers care about is the grade and they are all psychopaths. Over all, from what my son says , if I went to this school I would probably kill myself.
