Our 2nd child is a sophomore at SHS. He had a good freshman year and so far this year has been going good as well. Our oldest child graduated in 2010 and there seem to have been some improvements since. No school is perfect, but SHS has been a good fit for our sons.

I had a meeting at the school. And a member of the school staff that i had a meeting with told me that I did not need to dress up. I could had stayed in my over sized ratty t-shirt and my baggy sweats. I could come to work comfortable like that. I have never seen this woman day in my life before. I was so horrified. All i did was smile at her. It was her and I in that main office at that time. She walked, and began talking to another staff member. Saying "these people always come here all dressed in their Sunday or Club best for these meetings when they look like trash when they at home". I was so livid that I wanted to cry. But i kept my composure. If the parents get talked this away whose to say the children don't get talked to the say way.

This school is terrible. It seems as though the teachers have no knowledge of one another. As a result, so much homework is given to the student that they have only so much they can do, and when they don't turn it in on time, THEY are punished. If you can find a better school, go there instead. This district isn't even worth it.

This High school is too strict no flip flops and there are only two sets of stairs out of the whole school and they are only three steps... What an ridiculous rule.... And when they discipline they aren't disciplined in a equal manner...
