Diversity, inclusion, openness, quality of teachers, school staff: all exceeds expectations. Great elementary school in the Plano district.

"If you look at test scores alone, definitively ""yes"". If you take the whole child into consideration, they are beat down from constant barrage of rules and shaming. This place needs a culture overhaul and should focus on getting back to basics. It's unfortunate that parents have to sacrifice quality and positive time weekly with their kids to fit the rigid expectations of the requirements outside of class."

It’s a good school for the academically gifted traditional learner. Take the staff with a grain of salt, they seem to be harsh to everyone.

Our family’s experience at Centennial has been a positive one. Being new to the school and relatively new to Plano, we were expecting some tough times, but our girls thrived from the get go. While staff are definitely not overly friendly, they made efforts to get to know the kids, their temperaments, what they respond to, etc., while remaining relatively impartial. We had been to another Plano school with a great reputation, but the tone was completely different.

I had high expectations for this school from all of the positive reviews about it but it has been a horrible experience. An experience I certainly won't forget. Some of these teachers need guidance and some need to be taught what it is to be a teacher of young minds.
