Unfortunately, this school is a work in progress with many changes continually happening since we arrived in Kinder. So many families have been leaving this school over the Music program. It sounds strange to think of Music as a problem area but, these Music teachers are like nothing your child will ever meet anywhere else. I would inquire strongly about what is going on with the husband/wife Music teachers with other parents. Constantly screaming at my little boy and other children in the class. My child used to love singing and going to Music before these Music teachers came to SEASCS. It's so sad to see him come home so sad and upset. The whole school talks about the problem and parents complain but the Administration does nothing. We are just hoping and praying they won't be there next year!

Great school! My children have been at SEAS for three years, and they love it. Their teachers have been loving and I am glad to see my kids encouraged to reach their academic potential. There is a culture of achievement that permeates the building. This has helped my children build their self esteem as well.

Love this Faith Based School in the Copperfield Community. Great Catholic School and good value. Priced right in the middle of other Catholic Schools in the Houston area. Strong academics and some of the teachers have been there for many years. Children are well prepared for High School especially in Math and Science. Great Sports program making for a well rounded student. My kids started in Kinder and have remained there through eighth grade. One the things that stands out is how involved the parents are and the bonds that are made the first year.

Kindergarten and second grade were great, but the rest (through fourth grade) were miserable, mostly due to poor classroom management and communication. They encouraged parents to use their online tools to monitor assignments and grades, but it was so rarely updated by many of the teachers that it was pointless to log in most times. The former principal, Mrs. Krametbauer, seemed disinterested with our concerns the few times we were able to get in touch with her. There was frequent teacher turnover year to year, so there was rarely any continuity between grades.Bullying was common, by the same students, and never got better despite many, many meetings with faculty and administration. Our child's grade suffered and, toward the end of fourth grade, started coming home tearful and stressed out - very unusual for our child. We decided to change schools for 5th grade and the change has been stellar. Our child has had tremendous academic success and enjoys going to school with his new friends. If you're considering sending your child to SEAS, I would suggest doing more research and considering other schools. For the cost, you can find other, better schools than taking your chance at SEAS and hoping for the best.

Very strong curriculum, highly educated teaching staff, accelerated classes to prepare my kids for attending advanced college prep. Mrs. Krametbauer (and now Mr. Aguilera) and the teaching staff always shot straight with me about my kids' educational needs, and always cared for and loved them--personal priorities for my kids' private education. If you're looking to challenge your kids, I'd highly recommend SEASCS.
