Davis High School Ratings & Reviews

Not bad, I like most of the teachers. Some of the staff is a little unprofessional but, they can be dealt with. Overall, I think the school is great but, majority of the students that go here don't really want to learn or don't care about their education (like most kids anywhere)...They're too worried about whose dating who and when is the next fight. If my peers really made an effort to learn and actually do their work, i'm more than confident that all these stats would improve drastically. All we need is for the student to be focused on their work and we'll bet better.

Davis High School is just like many high schools in America. It is struggling with parental involvement. If parents become more involved the school will improve. The school will boost it's finances if students attend class. Students and parents do not often understand that attendance brings money to a schools budget. Come to class and the school can purchase newer items and improve everything on campus. Coming to class and doing your best will raise test scores. It will increase your opportunities in life. I give this school an above average rating because the staff really cares about their students. I knocked one star off because there needs to be more parents involvement, and a few students need to make more effort and attend class daily. Go Panthers!

I attened this school from 91-95... yes i flunked a year. But this school is a great place for students to truly want to learn something. I took me a long time to see it. I would love to see my kids attend this school. I truly love the Culinary Department. To all the class of '95, the best wishes my friends!

The school has undergone an amazing turn around. When I attended in the late 70's it was not a great place at all, but now I am amazed at how well the school is doing. Teachers who actually teach, students who are learning, and the overall environment is positive and inviting. Test scores are up, moral is up, and I the students truly enjoy going to school there. What ever the new principal has been doing the last few years is really working. Keep it up!
